Gang of 6...

This blog belongs to 6 ex COE students of NSIT... Though, now, we are all in separate places, studying or working, we hope to remain in touch with each other lest we forget the great time we had back in college. This blog is an attempt to achieve the same. Here's to us...!

ROFL!

Obivan's last post just has me in splits! And by the way, Obi ol' boy, that post of yours just weakened your position by many notches.
Okay, you're called a cribber by everyone but that doesn't mean that you go on explaining why you shouldn't be called so... you almost have an essay there! And use all the euphemisms that you may ("I don't crib, I complain"), the bottomline is, you do crib. The post before the previous one is proof of that...
The problem with you is that you take everything too seriously... okay, you didn't do well on a mock test, big deal! You didn't get a job in company X, get over it! You have every right to be disappointed, by don't go harping on about these things... and most of all, don't go on berating yourself... that is the worst thing to do. The faster you ACCEPT the obstacles that come in your way, the faster you can find a way AROUND them. And please, do something about our sensitivity to failure.

Fine mads, I get the point..

My post just weakened my position, you s. What I ask is, how?? Now are you equating even my explanations to cribbing? Righting some wrongs, clearing up some misconceptions that you may have, is cribbing again is it??

My post before the previous one is proof of my cribbing, you say. Well, I say that I was genuinely asking for advice. Wasn't cribbing or anything. It was a genuine plea for help, which by the way everybody managed to ignore quite handsomely. But no, no no no, that was cribbing.. Ahh, u see, I didn't know that!! In future I'll take care to set all my non-cribbing statements in '<'crib'>'...'<'/crib'>' tags. ;-)

I need to do something about my insensitivity to failure, you say. Don't worry mate, I am on that. In fact, I have been on that for let's say about three and a half years now.. Coz, had I not been doing that, I am quite sure that I wouldn't have been in NSIT blogging away to glory with you guys.

I could really go and on, and so could you or john or anybody else, with neither side being able to convince the other, ever. And I guess, there are certain matters that are better left unresolved. So, let's drop it. Atleast on this blog. You are welcome to take it up any time in college if you feel the need to, but as far as I am concerned, I have made my position clear, and do not wish to calrify it any further.. So, yeah, for the 100th time, let's drop it..
